The Garden Rose is a rose in its most natural state — full-bloomed, unhurried, and close to the earth. At four and a half inches across with an eight-inch stem, this piece is designed not for the vase on a pedestal but for the shelf, the windowsill, the bedside table — the intimate spaces where beauty is encountered daily and up close. It is where the detail in Ingrid's work is most visible, and most astonishing.

Like every Petals to Stems rose, this one begins with a real flower. Ingrid deconstructs it completely — studying the curve of each petal, the way the outermost layers open wide while the center holds — before rebuilding it by hand in premium German and Italian crepe paper. The short stem is intentional. This is a rose meant to be with you, not admired from across a room.
